area – the number of square units needed to cover a closed shape
volume – the number of cubic units needed to fill a solid figure
heptagon – a seven sided polygon
line segment – part of a line that has two end points
congruent shapes – figures that have the same size and shape
polygon – a closed plane figure made up of line segments
symmetry – a shape has this if it can be folded in half and both parts match exactly
